About the cover artists:
Daniel and Jeremy Lehrer are identical twin cartoonists and comedy writers. They grew up in a large extended family in Los Angeles where the emphasis was on academic excellence, classical music, fine art, and other activities designed not to get them laid.
After respectively graduating from Columbia University and Columbia Law School, Jeremy became a small cog at a big corporate law firm, while Daniel moved to Italy post graduation to become a small cog at Ducati Motorcycles in Bologna, Italy. They engaged in a half-decade of the usual post-gradua- tion soul-crushing work, before deciding to “Voltron” together to pursue their dreams of drawing and writing.
They created Snapchat’s first animated comedy, “Highly Gifted” (starring Kesha, Ron Funches, Nat Faxon, and Josh Brener) which ran for two seasons and built to 50 million views a week. They also created “Freak Brothers,” an animated comedy starring John Goodman, Woody Harrelson, Tiffany Haddish, and Pete Davidson. The show is currently the most watched show on Tubi. Two Freak Brother movies were recently commissioned and the show was renewed for a second season. The Lehrers have sold shows to Adult Swim, Amazon, and Fox and partnered on various projects with such iconic talent as Sacha Baron Cohen, Mila Kunis, and Paul Feig. They also have an award-winning satirical cartoon account, @lehrerboys, with over 100 thousand followers and 3,000 cartoons.
